If I could do magic, I would turn everything into art, colour and shape.

I think about art all day long, observing scenes and people, and bringing that inspiration into my studio. I love to express myself through my work, guided by music and my feelings at the time.

I briefly attended the Ecole Nationale d'Art de Cergy-Pontoise in France before moving to England, where I studied at the Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design. Having focused previously on printmaking, textiles, mixed media and life drawing, I now work with cold wax and encaustic wax - two of my favourite mediums.

I have exhibited at various venues, including the Manhattan Graphic Centre in New York with Poole Printmakers as well as in other galleries in Southampton and the South West of England. I have also taken part in all editions of the Shards Art Exhibition at the Bournemouth International Centre, and in April 2019 I had a joint exhibition at the Gallery Upstairs, Upton Country Park in Poole.

I truly hope that you like my art as much as I enjoyed making it.

Sharing my encaustic passion with Ursi Lysser

I was fortunate to be visited in my home studio in Bournemouth, UK, by Ursi Lysser: a Swiss art tutor and well-known artist, and proponent of encaustic art in Europe.

We looked at a couple of techniques, how to successfully pour resin onto encaustic wax art, and how to photograph the finished work.

What a lovely half day spent in her inspiring company, and I'm so looking forward to the Transatlantic Fusion exhibition in July 2024 when we will meet again.
