This painting is based on my continuing fascination with the sea, where the blue depths elicit the depths of one's own imagination.
To me, the blues depict deeper water fighting against the raucous riptide represented by glimpses of silver.
Like the mazes drawn by the crests among the waves, we can also see it as a reflection of the multitude of avenues or paths available to us in life.
