Concert Lights

The inspiration for this piece came from an uplifting concert, which triggered my creative juices.
I allowed the lights, atmosphere and dynamism to carry me to another dimension.
The "jeu de lumière", as well as colours, shapes, movement and ever-changing patterns all fuelled my imagination.
This fluidity meant watercolour was the natural choice of medium.
I painted on watercolour paper, which I then stuck to canvas and overlaid a layer of resin, giving the whole piece depth and shine.
